Not every oyster farm has a theme song. We hope you like ours.
It is based on a classic British song of unknown origin.
Prepared, composed, arranged and sung by Leland Rudner.

I was a-walking through Saint Michaels town
A pretty little oyster girl came around
I asked for her catch and she said "I've got more"
And shows me a basket of oysters

"Oysters, oysters, oysters she
These are the finest you'll ever see
Sold by the dozen but for you they'll be free
'Cuz I see you are a lover of oysters"

Barkeep, barkeep, barkeep, I asked
Have you got the little booth that's empty to a lass
Where me and my pretty oyster girl may be
To bargain away for oysters?

We were in the booth for a quarter hour more
When that pretty little oyster girl dashed for the door
She'd gone picked my pocket, like lightening she tore
But she left me with her basket of oysters

Barkeep, barkeep, barkeep, I cried
Did you see that pretty oyster girl drinking by my side?
She's gone picked my pocket, but the barkeep replied
"Son, you're too fond of your oysters"

Oysters, oysters, oysters, she
Saint Michaels are the finest you'll see
I sell by the dozen but for you they'll be free
'Cuz I see you're a lover of the oyster girl!
